As palletized transport becomes the mainstream outbound mode for factories, companies increasingly demand better packaging stability, faster shipment cadence, and reduced transport damage. Relying on a rotating turntable, a pallet stretch wrapper presses film tightly against the load to form a protective layer, helping to reduce friction in transit, dust ingress, and damage from humid environments. The TP series covers multiple models to fit different pallet heights, weights and industry use cases — building standardized pallet packaging stations for glass, pharmaceuticals & food, chemical raw materials, paper & building materials, and e-commerce warehousing.
Turntable design delivers steadier wrapping and supports multiple pallet sizes
The core structure of a pallet wrapper consists of a turntable, a vertical film carriage and a control system. The rotating turntable provides a spiral wrapping motion so film continuously envelops the load. It supports common pallet widths from 500–1200 mm and accepts wood, plastic and other industry pallets. Turntable speed is steplessly adjustable from 0–12 rpm; soft start/stop motion keeps high-center-of-gravity loads steady during wrapping and minimizes shifting or collapse. Turntables can carry up to 2000 kg, satisfying heavy scenarios such as building materials, chemical drums or beverage pallets. Multiple models are available and customization (higher posts, larger turntables) lets the equipment adapt to taller pallets.
Pre-stretch carriage ensures more uniform film adhesion and lower consumption
TP series machines can be equipped with pre-stretch film carriages to produce more uniform film tension on the pallet surface and reduce film usage per pallet. The carriage’s vertical movement typically uses dual chains and frequency control so top and bottom reinforcement zones as well as the middle spiral zone can be adjusted to match the load profile. For irregular or delicate stacks, increasing overlap ratio in reinforcement zones improves protection; for routine full-pallet loads, standard settings increase packing throughput.
Ready for unmanned packaging lines
An inline version of the pallet wrapper can integrate with roller conveyors, chain conveyors, weighing units, top-cover film devices, strapping machines, barcode/label printing and other modules to form an automated packaging cell. In an automated factory, wrapped pallets can be moved directly to conveyor zones for forklift or AGV transfer, making the production line flow more continuous.
Field performance and case example
A food processing company using manual wrap saw inconsistent tightness and occasional pallet shifts in transport. After installing a TP series pallet wrapper and setting film tension, layer count and turn counts appropriately, film adhesion and pallet stability improved significantly. During peak shipping periods the line ran at 20–40 pallets per hour, enabling the packing area to better handle fluctuating order volumes.
Pallet stretch wrappers provide a robust, adaptable pallet packaging solution across many industries and pallet sizes. Turntable rotation combined with a pre-stretch carriage creates consistent film coverage and adhesion, suitable for full-pallet shipments, warehouse turnover and long-distance transport. With optional modules and conveyor integration they form an automated packaging section that helps factories achieve more standardized, centralized and higher-speed packaging workflows.
