The pallet stretch wrapping machine is mainly used for overall wrapping of palletized goods before shipment. Through coordinated turntable rotation and film carriage lifting, stretch film is automatically wrapped around the pallet load. With a mature structure and stable operation, it is suitable for bulk container transport and standardized packaging of palletized goods, effectively improving outbound efficiency and packaging consistency.
In warehousing and logistics transportation, pallet loads require external stabilization to ensure integrity. Manual wrapping often results in uneven tension and unstable efficiency, affecting shipment rhythm. The pallet stretch wrapping machine completes wrapping through programmed control, standardizing each pallet load and reducing human error, thereby enhancing safety and stability during transportation.
The machine adopts a classic turntable design, where the pallet rotates with the turntable while the film carriage moves vertically to complete wrapping. Standard turntable diameters are 1650mm or 1800mm, with a load capacity up to 2000kg, suitable for 800–1200mm pallets. Variable frequency speed control and soft start/stop functions reduce load impact and ensure stable wrapping performance.
The machine can be equipped with a pre-stretch film carriage system that increases film utilization through mechanical pre-stretching. This reduces film consumption while maintaining load tightness, lowering long-term packaging costs. The carriage uses a dual-chain lifting structure with adjustable speed for smooth and reliable operation. Independent film delivery control ensures uniform film tension and improved wrapping quality.
An automatic film clamping and cutting device can be installed, completing film holding, cutting, and wiping through pneumatic control to enable unmanned operation. The PLC control system with a text display interface allows direct setting of top and bottom wrap layers and turns. Packaging efficiency typically reaches 20–40 pallets per hour, meeting the outbound rhythm of most production enterprises.
Optional configurations include: loading ramp for forklift access, enlarged turntable diameter, increased wrapping height, top press device, and integration with conveyor lines to upgrade into an inline wrapping system. Modular design allows the machine to operate as a standalone unit or as part of an automated packaging line.
The pallet stretch wrapping machine is widely used in automotive parts, glass products, electronics, paper, ceramics, chemicals, food, beverages, and building materials industries. By fully wrapping pallet loads with stretch film, it enhances load stability during storage and transportation while providing dust-proof and moisture-resistant protection. It is one of the most common foundational packaging machines in modern warehouse outbound operations.
